Have you ever looked at your power bills and thought – It would sure be nice if there was information out there to help lower this bill and save money. If so, you’re not alone. Perhaps you also thought – Wouldn’t it be great if the major utilities, experts from non-profits, and business and community members got together and pooled their knowledge and resources with the goal of providing energy efficiency tips and incentives for the benefit of all Douglas County residents. And do it in a way that is easy to access and understand.
Welcome to Douglas County Smart Energy, for this is exactly what’s happened. Douglas Electric, Avista Utilities, Pacific Power, Energy Trust of Oregon, United Community Action Network (UCAN), Neighborworks Umpqua, and business and community members have been working as a group to form Douglas County Smart Energy. The latest incentives and ideas on energy efficiency to save you money and lower your power bill will be presented in a clear and understandable way.
